Find your purpose with CentraCare working as a Coding Specialist 2! In this role, you will review medical records to complete diagnostic coding for Home Care and Hospice patient populations, as well as abstracting data elements from the medical record for billing purposes, governing agency requirements, and home care and hospice specific reporting elements. 

Schedule Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks  Hybrid | Occasional on site in Waite Park, MN required for training and meetings  Monday - Friday | 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

  Qualifications  High School Diploma or GED  Completion of the Association of Home Care Compliance (AHCC) Associate Program and Home Care Coding Associate (HCA) course and test/certification within six months of employment  Minimum of one year of experience and extensive working knowledge of the ICD coding system Knowlege of the disease process and surgical procedures
