Job Summary: The Coding Validation Auditor is responsible for performing quality reviews of medical records for coding and billing to ensure the clinical information within the medical record is accurate, complete, and compliant to support coding. This position is eligible for the remote coding program.

Minimum Requirements: RHIA or RHIT and CCS certification. Three or more years of hospital coding and/or coding auditing experience for a healthcare entity. Maintain current level of understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding. Maintain current knowledge of coding rules and guidelines, coding clinic, CPT assistant, and regulatory update.
