This position will be onsite and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA. Remote or hybrid is not available for this role.The Centers of Excellence, Solutions Engineering Manager will lead the strategic direction and operational management of the Solutions Consulting team within the Centers of Excellence (COE). This role is responsible for driving innovation, standardizing best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, scalable solutions across multiple products, platforms, and business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and business process management, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Solutions Engineering team, aligning with the overall enterprise strategyLead and manage a team of experts specialized in diverse enterprise technology and business domains, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementPartner with lines of business to assess opportunities to improve sales, service and efficiency through the implementation and optimization of COE technologiesCreate comprehensive discovery documents specifying the features and functionality required for the technology teams to developMaintain knowledge of technology evolutions and consistently identify opportunities to pilot and innovate on existing and future technology Standardize best practices and processes across the Solutions Engineering team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalabilityBuild and maintain the technology project roadmap for the Centers of ExcellenceCollaborate with business leaders and technical teams to build and deliver scalable enterprise solutions that meet business needsMonitor and manage the performance of the Solutions Engineering team, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business unit leaders, and external partnersEnsure effective communication and knowledge sharing across the Solutions Engineering team and the broader organizationManage the budget and resources for the Solutions Engineering team, ensuring optimal allocation and utilizationOversee the creation of and/or author software requirements documents and ensure the technology teams deliver to the specifications of the product requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a technology or business process management environmentProven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact, scalable solutionsStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levelsDeep understanding of Salesforce, Contact Center AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in technology and business process managementPreferred:
