Cognos BI Administrator

Our client requires a BI Administrator to serve as a first line of support for technical issues relating to reports or Cognos. Duties include monitor and maintain application security, enhance, and performance tune reports, application servers. Provide support to reporting communities / power users, etc.

Mandatory Requirements

Required Experience:

Experience in AWS QuickSight, Data Pipeline, DMS, and SPICE. 10+ years of BI experience.

Required Skills:

Must have SQL experience in building and analyzing queries in Oracle databases. Must be an expert in administering Cognos Reporting, cubes & Cognos Framework Manager. Experience working with vendor customer support on issue resolution. Strong understanding of relational and star-schema database designs is preferred. Good understanding of ODS/EDW and Content Deployments in BI tools. Experience in scripting on both Linux & windows. Good knowledge and experience using different Web Servers including AWS. Must possess a proven track record on business intelligence project delivery and demonstrate exceptional business acumen, strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Availability to work after hours and/or weekends and on-call, as specified by supervisor Desirable Requirements Good understanding of ODS/EDW and Content Deployments in BI tools.
