Job Summary

Responsible for the total cold food production for patient and personnel food service using standardized recipes based on standardized portion sizes,

Responsible for the preparation, set-up, serving and picking up all special functions, meetings, luncheons and dinners,

Sanitation of the cold production area is maintained on a daily basis to ensure compliance with Department of Health policies and procedures,

All floors, tables, counters, and sinks are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift according to the department's standards,

All food carts are properly cleaned and sanitized as needed,

Required:

Prior food preparation experience in an institutional setting or restaurant

Preferred:

Prior food preparation experience in a healthcare setting,

ServSafe Certified

Schedule:

Per Diem

Hours vary

Weekends and holidays required
