Manage the process of outsourcing scientific activities for BR scientific functions and the operational relationship with external CROs
• Provide operational management of CROs supporting a broad range of BR scientific functions
• Responsible for driving and evolving an efficient, cost-effective, high-quality, and flexible infrastructure for outsourcing scientific activities across BR
• Function as the scientific contact for initiating, tracking, executing, and internalizing outsourcing requests with deep technical know-how
• Hold shared responsibility with scientific functions for assay performance and data QC
• Collect input and provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocation and timelines for the ORE group; identify issues, propose and implement mitigation plans for decision making
• Responsible for management and assessment of Novartis external CRO performance
• Ensure implementation and adherence to BR compliance and operational policies About the Role
