Collaboration Platforms Team Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Team Manager/Team Lead to lead a highly skilled team specializing in Microsoft 365 (M365), Active Directory (AD), and Entra ID. The ideal candidate should possess a solid technical foundation in these areas, with preferred experience in Google Workspace and/or Proofpoint. This role calls for a hands-on leader adept at managing and running email and cloud storage services, overseeing daily operations, ensuring successful project execution, and driving innovation in collaboration technologies.

This is a hybrid eligible position.

 

Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a small, experienced team of professionals, fostering collaboration and growth. Oversee team performance, set objectives, and ensure successful delivery of projects and operational goals. Plan, execute, and monitor projects related to M365, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, AD, and SharePoint. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met within scope, budget, and timelines. Oversee the day-to-day management of collaboration tools, ensuring high availability and performance. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to the team. Manage integrations, migrations, and enhancements of collaboration platforms. Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance collaboration and productivity. Align team activities with organizational goals and IT strategy. Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors. Communicate updates, challenges, and successes to stakeholders effectively.

 

Qualifications: Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.), Entra ID, and Active Directory. Solid understanding of Proofpoint and email security technologies. Experience managing or supporting collaboration tools in a professional environment. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing high-performing teams. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Experience with Google Workspace administration and integration.

 

Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Google Workspace Administrator, are highly desirable.

 

The expected pay range for this position is $168,628 – 180,000 per annum.
