Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Collaborative Robotics team and all related marketing, sales and business development activities across all the market segments to increase sales, market share and customer satisfaction. You will develop and implement a market-based strategy for Cobots sales through distributors, channel partners and direct target accounts. Build relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leverage ABB strengths to capture new business opportunities.The work model for the role is: #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Robotics division in North America. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeadership: Driving profitable growth focusing on penetration, innovation and expansion by creating, implementing, and refining the Cobot strategy while coaching/supporting your team•\tTargets: Define targets, business plan execution, and driving growth.•\tMarket Analysis & Marketing: Operational intelligence, understanding regulations/standards, ensuring ABB’s value proposition and market visibility.•\tAccount Management: Identify, prioritize, map requirements and opportunities into actions•\tCustomer Relationships, Contracts, and Negotiations: Build/maintain strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders, ensuring the team is well prepared and has the necessary internal support to pursue and manage large project contracts, and leads or participates in the negotiation of legal and commercial international frame agreements.
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, or a technical discipline\tMinimum of 10 yrs. experience in a Sales, Business Development or Strategic Marketing Leader-ship role within manufacturing automation, consumer segments, general industries, life scienc-es, lab automation etc.\tPrior work experience in a global or matrix organizations (reporting to multiple mangers and divisions). \tCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
