Collection Analyst 

Grade: 7
Location: Mexico City

 

An exciting role as Collection Analyst managing all aspects of collection and credit extension for a specific portfolio of South American customers, reporting into the local department manager. In addition, the person will be responsible for execution of credit/collections processing to ensure accurate and timely management of the credit practices within the company’s accounting function. This role will be interacting with some of the largest and most iconic brands in South American business. Great opportunity to gain international experience with an exciting technology company. 

 

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility: 

Generation of reports for the preparation and sending of account statements to customers. 

Coordination of meetings with customers (internal/external) for the resolution of disputes related to documents issued. 

Generation and validation of bank’s statements to reconcile payments received, after validating Customer’s portals. 

Generation of batches to apply the reconciled payments and ensure correct registration in the system. 

Reception and delivery of payment complements to customers (Only Mexico). 

Release of orders in HOLD when necessary and appropriate to do so. 

Analysis of financial statements for new or existing customers to determine credit limit. 

Support for audits (Internal / External). 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in business or related field 

Minimum of one year of experience as a credit/collection specialist; or any equivalent 

Combination of acceptable training, education, and experience 

Must possess effective written and verbal communications skills. 

Should be able to demonstrate PC proficiency in MS Word and Excel as well as learn any corporate or industry software used by the position. 

Basic accounting skills required. 

Fluent in English, both written and spoken 

Customer oriented 

Strong work Ethic 

Must be located in Mexico City
