Collections Specialist 

 

 

Summary: Perform standard Medical Collection functions in our Central Billing Office

 

 

Responsibilities Minimum 1 year experience in heavy medical collections experienceAbility to read and learn technical terms, as well as follow moderately complete instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram or schedule formStrong organization skills, ability to effectively prioritize and possess time management skillsStrong customer service skillsAbility to learn, retain and develop new skills and concepts at a rapid paceIn possession of a “can-do”, team oriented mentalityAbility to successfully perform duties with minimal supervision (following the training period)Ability to recognize potentially problematic situations and the reporting of such to ManagementMonthly billing send outs to direct bill clientsHandle client accounts, past dues, billing errors, etc. Qualifications Prior and/or existing experience in an analyst role.Workers Comp backgroundIMS, Internet, e-mail and basic Word & Excel processing skillsThis position is located in Montgomery
