Collection Specialist - Drug & Alcohol

Performs duties to include drug screen testing collections and breath alcohol tests in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensures chain of custody form is completed correctly. Responds to donors/patients in a timely and professional manner, exercising professionalism and upholding our company values.

 

The Collection Specialist- Drug & Alcohol is directly responsible and accountable to the Occupational Medicine Manager. Travel between facilities may be required as occupational medicine and health is a system wide service line.

 



Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

 

· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.

 

· Associate degree preferred.

 

· 1-2 years in a healthcare setting preferred.

 

· CPC (Certified Professional Collector); BAT (Breath Alcohol Technician); MROA (Certified Medical Review Officer Assistant); COHC (Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist) Required. Can obtain once hired.
