Description This position requires a highly skilled debt recovery specialist with exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a proven track record of success in high-pressure situations, and require minimal supervision to excel. Duties and Responsibilities: Contact delinquent borrowers via phone to resolve outstanding debt obligations. Negotiate and finalize complex payment arrangements, including payment plans and settlements. Effectively handle complex customer interactions, including escalated calls and complaints. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and collection activities within the company’s database. Meet or exceed aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals. Maintain a detail oriented and courteous demeanor at all times. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act). Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: 5+ years of proven success in debt recovery, collections, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse clientele. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
