Collections Analyst (Cantonese Speaker)Purpose of the role
Your objectives are to prepare, carry out, and monitor the automated and manual collection processes for Amadeus markets with Greater China countries as the main focus. You will work closely and coordinate with the Billing Analysts within the team to ensure operational requirements are met. Implement new requirements, identify problems, analyze and solve them. You are the responsible connection between the local customers and business partners, as well as other business units and the central team for OTC (Order to Cash) activities specific to Collections. You will also assist in planning and carrying out process improvements and system integration and assess, help detect and provide solutions to complex collection issues as they occur.
In this role you’ll:
Independently perform operational OTC activities for Amadeus products and services.
Work closely with other colleagues in a team on the support and execution of the OTC processes.
Act as a business partner for our internal departments, management, and customers, providing support and advice for all billing and collection-related topics.
Collaborate with other units in Amadeus and provide input on the evolution of OTC-related processes.
Be motivated to work on local and international projects, process improvements, and automation.
About the ideal candidate:
Background in Accounting & Finance or any degree related to Business Administration / Finance.
At least 4 years’ work experience in a similar position.
Experience in Billing & Collection Processes, SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Module, and advanced level in MS Office business applications.
Experience collaborating with different levels in the organization, with effective communication skills both in speaking and writing, and a strong customer focus.
Experience working with a multinational company is a plus.
Ability to review and comprehend contractual terms, experience in problem-solving skills, and a strong customer focus and accountability.
Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Cantonese, both internal and customer-facing.
Enjoy working in a multinational environment (working with offshore counterparts), being self-motivated, and working effectively within a team.
Willing to work in a hybrid set-up.
