Collections Director - America

Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAs a Collections Director - America here at Honeywell\nBuilding Automation (BA), you will be accountable for overseeing and guiding\nthe Order to Cash function within the organization for Americas. As the\nCollections Director - America, you will develop and implement strategies to\noptimize the cash collections process, reduce past due receivables, and improve\noverall efficiency and the Customer Experience through the entire OTC cycle. In\nthis role, you will analyze customer payment trends and develop action plans to\naddress any issues that may arise. You will work with cross-functional teams to\nresolve customer disputes and escalations, ensuring a high level of customer\nsatisfaction. The Collections Director - America will also monitor and report\non key performance metrics related to collections, providing insights and\nrecommendations for improvement.
You will report directly to our Sr. OTC Director and you’ll work out of our San\nLuis Potosi, S.L.P., location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the financial health of the organization by\nensuring the timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable and\noptimizing the collections process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•\nEstablish strategies and develop partnerships with internal and external\nstakeholders to ensure BA hits its Past Due, Cash Collection, Bad Debt,\nUnapplied Cash and Disputes Targets.
• Create learning and development strategies to ensure the professional growth\nof the OTC team members
• Deploy and monitor the correct execution of the Global Design Models (GDMs)\nfor Order to Cash
• Create and analyze periodical reports on KPIs and underlaying data to develop\naction plans that will improve BA’s cash position
• Connect with Key Customers in a regular basis to gather feedback and\nstrengthen Honeywell’s relationship with them
• Represent the SLP BA Site to the broader teams located in the MX0A site
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in collections, credit, finance, customer\nexperience or accounts receivable management
• Proven track record of successfully managing a large multi-disciplinary team\nin a complex matrixed organization
• History of successful talent development
• Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
