Description Are you a motivated and reliable Collections Specialist eager to make an impact on a team? Robert Half is seeking a highly organized professional to join a growing company in Federal Way, WA. In this role, you’ll leverage your communication skills and knowledge of accounts receivable functions to ensure timely payments and resolve billing discrepancies swiftly. Key Responsibilities: + Proactively contact clients for payment resolutions on past-due accounts. + Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. + Maintain knowledge of company procedures and local/state regulations that impact billing and collections. + Prepare credit memos, account adjustments, and other financial documents to support collection efforts. + Analyze aging reports and other financial records to track trends and prioritize actions. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: + 3 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable support roles. + Previous experience working with medical billing or healthcare-related systems preferred. + Strong aptitude for data entry, documentation, and record keeping with high attention to detail. + Effective communication for calls, emails, and negotiations with clients. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
