Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in PLAIN CITY, Ohio, United States. This role encompasses the processing and resolution of customer inquiries, the maintenance of accurate customer records, and the monitoring of customer accounts for appropriate action. Responsibilities • Handle customer inquiries related to their accounts and resolve them in a timely manner • Utilize CRM and other software to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Maintain and update customer credit records using Excel spreadsheets • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action regarding the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) updates for vendors • Address disputes or concerns raised by clients about their bills or services rendered • Utilize proprietary systems (BCS) for various collection processes • Work on the administration of accounts receivable and billing functions • Manage any claim administration related tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is required. • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) management. • Experience with billing functions and procedures. • Knowledge of claim administration processes. • Ability to manage and oversee collection processes. • High attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance or a related field is preferred. • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
