Description We have a promising opportunity for a Collections Lead at a client near Downtown, Houston. Key responsibilities: • Engage proactively with customers prior to invoice due dates to facilitate timely payments. • Handle the task of pursuing customers who owe payments, while maintaining detail-oriented and persistence in communications. • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payments. • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable Specialist as necessary. • Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools effectively to manage customer accounts and ensure accuracy. • Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization. • Manage customer inquiries and resolve them effectively. • Maintain accurate customer credit records. • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. • Perform additional duties as assigned, maintaining a detail-oriented and organized approach. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must. • Proficiency in using CRM tools is expected. • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. • Ability to efficiently handle Answering Inbound Calls. • Must have experience with Billing Functions. • Experience in B2B collections is expected. • Proficiency in Prophet 21 is necessary.
