Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring timely payments, managing customer accounts, and maintaining smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, collections, and customer service, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: + Post daily payments to NetSuite with accuracy and timeliness. + Manage collections by emailing and making phone calls to address past-due invoices. + Forecast weekly incoming payments to support financial planning and cash flow management. + Participate in daily collection meetings with the Head of Collections for Cargomatic. + Distribute aging reports to customers and follow up as needed. + Serve as a customer service representative for resolving disputed invoices. + Issue credit memos in NetSuite as required. + Conduct credit checks for new customers and complete credit reference requests for existing customers. + Assist with scanning and emailing customer invoices when necessary. + Gather and input data into AS400, and verify accuracy of valuable company information. + Calculate and process monthly commissions for the Warehouse Manager. Qualifications: + Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively. + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. + Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience: + Background in logistics, warehousing, or transportation industries is a plus. The expected salary range for this role is $40,000 to $50,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
