Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring timely payments, managing customer accounts, and maintaining smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, collections, and customer service, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Post daily payments to NetSuite with accuracy and timeliness.Manage collections by emailing and making phone calls to address past-due invoices.Forecast weekly incoming payments to support financial planning and cash flow management.Participate in daily collection meetings with the Head of Collections for Cargomatic.Distribute aging reports to customers and follow up as needed.Serve as a customer service representative for resolving disputed invoices.Issue credit memos in NetSuite as required.Conduct credit checks for new customers and complete credit reference requests for existing customers.Assist with scanning and emailing customer invoices when necessary.Gather and input data into AS400, and verify accuracy of valuable company information.Calculate and process monthly commissions for the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

Background in logistics, warehousing, or transportation industries is a plus.The expected salary range for this role is $40,000 to $50,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
