Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist, based in Vista, California. This role is centered around managing overdue customer accounts in our team. As a Collections Specialist, your primary tasks would involve processing customer accounts, maintaining precise records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Contacting customers with overdue accounts through various communication channels such as phone, email, or mail to remind them of their outstanding balances. • Discussing and negotiating flexible repayment terms with customers to facilitate the clearing of their debts. • Documenting all interactions with customers regarding their overdue accounts, including any agreed payment arrangements or disputes. • Addressing and resolving any billing disputes or complaints to ensure accurate account records. • Regularly tracking the progress of collections and following up on overdue accounts to ensure payments are made in a timely manner. • Providing regular updates on the status of overdue accounts and any issues encountered during the collection process. • Ensuring all collection efforts adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). • Delivering excellent customer service to uphold positive relationships with clients while ensuring collections targets are met.
