Our client is seeking a skilled Credit Management Specialist to join their team. This role is vital to the organization’s financial health, focusing on managing credit policies, minimizing credit risks, and maximizing cash flow. Reporting to the Director of Credit Management, the Credit Management Specialist will play a key role in analyzing creditworthiness, managing credit limits, overseeing collections, and maintaining a customer-centric approach throughout the order-to-cash process.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate customers’ financial information to assess creditworthiness, identify risk factors, and recommend credit limits.
Perform credit checks and reviews using reliable data sources (e.g., credit reports, financial statements, payment histories).
Monitor customer accounts for changes in creditworthiness and address potential concerns.
Assist in developing and maintaining credit policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring invoices are addressed promptly and payments are on schedule.
Proactively follow up with customers on overdue payments, negotiate terms when needed, and resolve payment issues.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address payment-related concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement effective collection strategies while preserving positive customer relationships.
Handle inquiries regarding billing issues, discrepancies, and disputes with efficiency and professionalism.
Coordinate with legal teams when required for collection escalations or delinquent account actions.
Maintain accurate records of credit and collection activities, including customer profiles, payment histories, and communication logs.
Generate reports on overdue accounts and propose actionable solutions to mitigate outstanding balances.
Work closely with internal teams (finance, sales, legal) to streamline credit and payment processes.
Participate in month-end activities and handle additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Credit Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to tasks.
Proficiency in software tools such as Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Salesforce.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in Collection Processes and operations
• Experience in Collecting Payments in a timely manner
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and report generation
• Experience in using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Platform
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Prior experience in B2B collections is essential
• Familiarity with Billing Collection processes and strategies
• Experience in Collections, particularly within a commercial context
