Collections Team Lead

Overview

ISS STOXX is growing! We seek a Collections Team Lead to contribute to our expanding success – a self-motivated professional to assist with collections and to engage in B2B collections of escalated overdue accounts. Primary responsibility will be monitoring, motivating, and training the Collections Team to ensure monthly goals are met monthly. This position will report to/work directly under the Collections Head, under the Revenue Control Department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist Collections Manager with setting clear goals and KPIs for the collection staff.

Coach, mentor, and motivate collections team members in Manila.

Ability to effectively teach strong negotiation and decision-making skills.

Oversee day-to-day team’s operation and performance, to include ensuring the process document is followed by the team and feedback is provided.

Ensure that client communications regarding outstanding debt are effective, clear, and consistent with company policy.

Delegate tasks & help Collections Manager with regular performance evaluation.

Assist with collections escalations on Global entities & communicate with clients, to ensure prompt resolution of client payment issues.

Monitor accounts for potential escalations and investigate historical data to support client communication.

Ability to handle sensitive issues with both internal and external customers.

Update account status records and collections efforts in NetSuite.

Partner with Billing, Cash App and Sales Teams to resolve client issues.

Assist Collections Manager with any other assigned ad hoc duties.

Qualifications

Training & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree graduate (preferably any Finance/Accounting related course)

Has an extensive finance background with at least 6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, B2B (Business to Business) Collections, & skip tracing, and at least 3 years in a Lead or Supervisory role.

Fluent in English is essential, with ability to communicate clearly and professionally verbally and in writing.

Extremely organized, detail -oriented with strong decision-making & conflict resolution skills.

Strong MS Office (especially in Excel) skills required

Ability to read and understand contract terms and requirements.

Demonstrated expertise in setting team KPIs and collaborating with team towards achieving them.

Experience working with NetSuite SAP and/or Salesforce.

Work Location & Schedule:

Amenable to work in Ayala North Exchange Makati and on a hybrid work set-up (3x onsite per week)

Amenable to work on a permanent mid-shift schedule (3PM-12AM, Manila time)
