What a College Intern - Semiconductor Wafer Fab 

Process Optimization: Collaborate with the wafer fab team to develop & optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes.Data Extraction: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) machine-generated data into an external data system or database.Data Analysis: Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze manufacturing data and contribute to process improvement initiatives (SPC).Machine Communication: Knowledge of computer communication protocols is a plus; contribute to real time communication between machine and PC.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, observations, and results.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science.Strong analytical and data analysis skills.Familiarity with PC communication protocols is advantageous.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
