Act as liaison between the Massey Advising Center staff advisors and students. Peer advising, answering student questions via chat, video, email, or in person meetings regarding registration, DegreeWorks, and campus resources. Understand the different degrees/majors within the Massey College of Business and have a basic knowledge of required courses. Ability to redirect students to the Academic Catalog or other resources for more information. Represent Massey Advising Center at events across campus, which may include New Student Orientation. Assist with various marketing projects, such as making graphics in Canvas, sending out the monthly Newsletter, creating/distributing surveys and advising resources.   Assist with providing office coverage by answering the main telephone line, scheduling appointments, and greeting guests with warmth and hospitality. Other projects/duties based on the Massey Advising Center’s initiatives.

Primarily sedentary work. Occasionally requires standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, and climbing, reaching both high and low.
