College of Medicine Manager of Scholarly Productivity

Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Scholarly Productivity and Innovation, the Manager of Scholarly Productivity will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to promote exceptional research education, training, and career development activities that will achieve distinction in program quality and outcomes at the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine at Belmont University. The Manager will serve as a key resource for students and faculty in pursuing research research-related opportunities. 

Primary position responsibilities include:

Work in collaboration with the Assistant Dean for Scholarly Productivity and Innovation and faculty to design the College of Medicine student and faculty scholarly productivity program. Ensure College of Medicine students and faculty have the appropriate support and infrastructure to meet their needs in a variety of different areas of scholarly productivity. Serve as the College of Medicine data analyst and teach others to use qualitative data analysis tools.Submit appropriate grants in collaboration with College of Medicine faculty, students, and community partners. The above statements describe the job’s essential responsibilities and requirements.  They are not an exhaustive list of the duties that may be assigned to job incumbents.
