Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Scholarly Productivity
and Innovation, the Scholarly Productivity Coordinator provides administrative
and operational support for the Scholarly Productivity and Innovation Unit in
the Office of Medical Education and Faculty Success at the Thomas F. Frist Jr.
College of Medicine at Belmont University.
Primary position responsibilities:
Support
daily operations by successfully organizing, facilitating, and executing
the work of both the faculty and student scholarly productivity. Partner
with FCoM faculty and curriculum management team on administrative and
operational tasks involved in research elective course delivery, including
set up in the online learning management system, classroom preparation,
triaging system issues, tracking student progress, and actively
participating in building outcomes reports as needed and requested. Provide
administrative and logistical support to the Assistant Dean and the
Director of Student Scholarly Productivity by coordinating and
facilitating information sessions, triaging questions, compiling
application and decision-making information, onboarding individual faculty
and students, updating standard operating procedures, and processing
travel request and awards. Maintain
files for the unit and funded-research projects, including but not limited
to correspondence files, committee files, budget documents, subject
recruitment materials, and appointment schedules for research
participants. Coordinate
and manage FCoM research-related events, e.g., Annual Student Research
Symposium. Work with the Assistant Dean to record, generate, and distribute meeting
minutes and prepare and distribute other required reports for Belmont
University IRB and the FCoM Research Proposal Review Committee.The
