Collision Repair Training Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Collision Repair Training Manager to oversee the development and execution of training programs to support our collision repair network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collision repair, automotive training, and leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality, engaging training content.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, Design, develop, and implement comprehensive collision repair training programs targeted for technicians at our body shop partners. Ensure all training materials are aligned with the latest vehicle updates, repair procedures, repair tooling, and best practices Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for both new and experienced collision repair professionals. Coordinate with subject matter experts to design and deliver specialized training on repair techniques, repair tooling, and OEM standards. Collaborate with our body shop partners to identify and address knowledge gaps in the repair network. Develop and implement methods for assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of training programs and any identified areas for improvement. Manage and mentor a team of trainers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to deliver effective training.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 7 years experience in automotive collision repair, with at least 3 years in a leadership or training role. Experience with OEM-specific repair processes, standards, and technology is highly preferred. Previous experience designing and delivering training programs for automotive technicians is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of collision repair techniques, tools, and equipment. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and teach a diverse audience. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel to provide on-site training and support at facilities both nationally and internationally. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements and technologies.
