Colon & Rectal Surgeons of Erie are a part of UPMC Hamot Center for Digestive Health. Our physicians specialize in traditional surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the small bowel, colon, and rectum, as well as laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy. The practice includes two physicians, two physician assistants, along with a support staff.
The center offers the following procedures:
Abdominal and pelvic surgery (open, laparoscopic, and robotic)
Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
Screening colonoscopy
Anal and rectal surgery
Colon resection surgery
Pelvic floor
Pilonidal cyst surgery
Non-operative management for:
Hemorrhoids
Fecal incontinence
Anal fissure
Anal itching
Diverticular disease
Constipation
Ulcerative colitis
Irritable bowel syndrome
Encopresis
