Combat Systems Electronic Technician V - Position Description

We have immediate hire openings for Combat Systems Electronic Technician V to support Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Dover, NH, who wants to grow with the Company. Security Clearance:

•             Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance

Responsibilities:

•             Draft combat systems tests from ISEA provided installation tests/

•             Evaluate customer feedback and provide draft responses.

•             Evaluate ship alterations and recommend maintenance plan changes and development / revision of products.

•             Based on discussions with the user activities, evaluate the need for issued tests and make recommendations for deletion, modification or new tests.

•             Document technical decisions to support history files.

Educational Requirements:

•             High School or GED equivalent

•             Technical School or related experience

•             Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Preferred

Experience Requirements:

•             5 years experience in maintenance planning or execution of nuclear submarine components and equipment

•             Experience with combat systems fire control electronics aboard a submarine.

•             Experience with test procedures, User Activity Comment Sheets (UACS) and Test Problem Reports (TPRs).

•             Experience with MS Office Suite of products which includes familiarity with Access, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Other Requirements:

•             Experience with submarine navigation and radar systems.

•             Experience with Maintenance & Ship Work Planning (M&SWP) database.
