A growing construction company is seeking combo welders who have flux, mig, and tig experience. Combo welders will need to know how to read blueprints and weld symbols. If you're someone who has experience in this setting and is looking for work, please apply!
Job description:
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, weld symbols, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand Perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW and other mixed type of welds based on project needs Pipe including, but not limited to, Stainless steel, various types of chrome, and carbon pipe Select proper fillers for welding task based on welding procedure specifications Assist pipe fitters pulling measurements to prep work area, help prep material to weld and install, as well and any other task needed to complete job Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions
Skills Desired
1+ year of combo pipe welding is a must (3g vertical, 4g vertical easier tests they'll need to pass) Top welders need to pass Unlimited 6G pipe test (most difficult)Carbon steel pipe Stainless pipe 4”- 30” diameter Flux Core, Mig, Tig, and Sub-Arc Must pass a vertical welding test
Shift
2nd shift M-Saturday 40-60 hour work weeks

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00
