Role Objective:

As Comedy Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of Live Nation’s comedy genre, developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that engage fans and deliver exceptional results. Working with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure every campaign reflects our fan-first ethos and achieves measurable success. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional passionate about live entertainment and the comedy genre.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Campaign Management: Develop and execute marketing campaigns for comedy tours and festivals, leveraging Live Nation’s channels, sponsor partnerships, and media relationships.Creative Collaboration: Work with designers, comedians, and agencies to create engaging content and promotional materials.Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including promoters, producers, festivals, venues, and ticketing teams. Fostering strong, collaborative relationships to ensure smooth communication and coordination.Media Planning: Brief media and creative agencies to develop robust media plans that drive ticket sales and optimise campaign performance.Social Media: Manage and liaise with comedians and their teams to create social schedules and deliver assets for promotional use.Marketing Insights: Monitor and analyse campaign performance, fan behaviour, and market trends to inform strategies and identify opportunities.Budget Oversight: Manage small to medium marketing budgets across multiple events, optimising spend for maximum return.Cross-Genre Support: Provide marketing campaign support to the broader Live Nation Tour Marketing team as needed.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in marketing roles within live entertainment, media, or related industries.Strong understanding of the comedy genre and marketing landscape in Australia and New Zealand.Expertise in developing and managing multichannel marketing campaigns.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building strong relationships.Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in budget management and performance analysis.
