About the Position: This position is in the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM), CG's Initiatives Group (CIG). The U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command manages the Army's ground equipment supply chain, which constitutes over 60 percent of the Army's total equipment Responsibilities Provides executive level strategic planning for Senior Leadership throughout TACOM on assigned TACOM programs and issues. Attends meetings and conferences to capture the CG’s philosophy, thoughts, guidance, and decisions. Develops strategies, methods, approaches, and procedures for war-gaming strategic plans and rules of engagement. Evaluates, coordinates and develops alternative perspectives based on supporting documents. Conducts and provides a senior level advocate review of all TACOM operations and training concepts, programs, organizational designs and events. Conducts high level meetings, informational and decision briefings; both informal and formal action officer level meetings to ensure decision and policies are implemented in an effective and timely manner.
