About the Position: This position is in the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM), CG's Initiatives Group (CIG). The U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command manages the Army's ground equipment supply chain, which constitutes over 60 percent of the Army's total equipment Responsibilities Provides executive level strategic planning for Senior Leadership throughout TACOM on assigned TACOM programs and issues. Attends meetings and conferences to capture the CG’s philosophy, thoughts, guidance, and decisions. Develops strategies, methods, approaches, and procedures for war-gaming strategic plans and rules of engagement. Evaluates, coordinates and develops alternative perspectives based on supporting documents. Conducts and provides a senior level advocate review of all TACOM operations and training concepts, programs, organizational designs and events. Conducts high level meetings, informational and decision briefings; both informal and formal action officer level meetings to ensure decision and policies are implemented in an effective and timely manner. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
