Commercial Account Manager, Corporates

About The Role:
As a Commercial Account Manager at Thomson Reuters you will be responsible for revenue growth and customer success across a portfolio of accounts within a geographic territory or market segment. You will partner with customers to understand their needs and priorities and offer solutions that help them drive business performance and make better decisions.  You’ll also represent Thomson Reuters in industry events, trade associations, and other relevant forums to build brand awareness and generate leads.   To succeed in this role you’ll need to build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, have superior sales and relationship building skills, strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how to engage with senior level decision makers. About You:
To be successful as a Commercial Account Manager, you’ll likely have experience selling software/SaaS solutions into large corporate organizations and financial institutions. You should have a full understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify client needs and effectively respond to them. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to build trusted relationships quickly and easily. You’ll need to demonstrate a high degree of empathy and diplomacy when dealing with clients who may be under pressure or experiencing challenging situations. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Finally, you’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $133,000 - $247,000. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $133,000 - $247,000. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
