Commercial Advisor

Wood is looking for applications from experienced Commercial Advisors to join our busy Commercial function in Aberdeen working on one of our Upstream contracts. We offer flexible hybrid working.

With a positive growth strategy, Wood has a number of exciting and challenging projects within its Operations EMEA business and as a result has a number of dynamic opportunities within its Commercial function. As a function the commercial team are dedicated to ensuring best in class in contractual and commercial administration through championing Woods Financial Management Framework in all its aspects.

The Commercial Advisor role is a key role in a project team and we’re looking for a proactive, flexible, and energetic individual to join the team and develop their career with Wood.

At a high level, the job objectives are, under supervision:

Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract) Commercialisation of a sub-Business Groups service offerings to support business growth and 
strategy Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies  Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues  Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group / Project 
/ Portfolio of Projects Supporting the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group
