Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their team. As a Commercial Analyst, you will be part of the commercial operations supporting daily activities on the Westcoast pipeline system. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Commercial Analyst
**Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)**
**Job Description:**
Take ownership of issues arising from daily commercial activities and proactively seek solutions that best meet the mutual interests and needs of the organization and its customers.
+ Manage various accounts including shipper business, fuel, swing gas, and pipeline operational accounts.
+ Complete all critical daily gas cycles within set timelines, ensuring nominations are scheduled accurately in accordance with North American Energy Standards Board guidelines.
+ Facilitate the restructuring and re-execution of contracts into a new proprietary gas management system.
+ Prepare regular contracts reporting files for management and external reporting requirements.
**Qualifications:**
+ 0-3 years' experience in a similar role.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Detail-oriented with strong system capabilities.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently with little direction and adapt to new processes and ideas.
