Imagine working in the heart of the European Energy Transition with impactful clean energy companies in the Dutch and European wholesale market. The ET&C team is responsible for the development and execution of the ambitious B4ET growth plan and mandate to build Rabobank’s third strategic pillar. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and Senior Bankers, supporting them in their daily tasks, gaining insights from their expertise, and simultaneously building knowledge on products and establishing a valuable network. You will be supporting the Business Development Manager with the development and execution of our ambitious prospecting strategy in the Netherlands and Europe, playing a crucial role in driving sustainable growth of our client portfolio. Next to this, you will be supporting the Senior Relationship Bankers with pitches and client interactions to execute the client plans.
The Team: Client Coverage Large Corporates NL, better known as Senior Relationship Banking (SRB), is responsible for the overall relationship management with the bank's largest clients. The coverage bankers are the first point of contact for the client, aligning all products and departments both externally and internally. The team also drives the European B4ET growth plan and mandate together with the European branches. You will join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with an ambitious and enthusiastic mindset that values social activities and work-life balance.
Team ET&C is one of the five sector teams within the Client Coverage NL department. The team operates in the heart of the European Energy Transition markets, covering 7 sectors including Clean Tech, Offshore Services & Equipment, Renewable Production, Grids, Storage, Clean Energy Trading, and Circularity.
Responsibilities:
Further develop the B4ET prospecting funnel for the Netherlands and Europe, which encompasses market and sector analyses (in close collaboration with RaboResearch as well).Prepare and coordinate the preparation of discussions and presentations for clients and prospects.Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and the Senior Bankers in their daily activities.Assist with broader strategic projects for the team and senior management.You and Your Talent: You are an enthusiastic individual who takes ownership and is eager to learn.
