As a Commercial Banking Analyst Intern you will get to know our business quickly by working with a diverse group of talented professionals in a dynamic environment.

You will work in two commercial banking groups, the first is Dealer Finance (May-June) and the second is Treasury & Payment Services (July-August).

While working with Dealer Finance your focus will be on learning the Dealership industry (including Automotive, RV, Marine, Power Sports). This includes but is not limited to attending industry events, visiting clients, preparing competitive information, industry research, ad-hoc requests, supporting presentations and national sales calls.

While working with Treasury & Payment Services your focus will be on learning the sales support and servicing aspect of dealerships and understanding the day in and day out transactions that help dealers in their payments and collection related activities along with exposure to online commercial banking and commercial cards services.

Our ideal candidate is a 1st year student enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.

Qualifications:

Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience; however as part of the BMO campus program we are looking for motivated students with a strong desire to learn.Verbal & written communication skills - Good.Organization skills - Good.Collaboration & team skills - Good.Analytical and problem solving skills - Good.

Salary:

$35,000.00 - $52,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
