Commercial Banking C&I Team Manager

Function: Assumes the primary relationship responsibility for complex consumer and commercial banking functions within a major geographic region of the bank. Assists in the development and coordination of procedures and in enhancing the growth and profitability of the loan portfolio. Oversees the Business Banking unit, management trainees and regional business development officers.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assumes responsibility for the consumer and commercial banking functions by:
a. Interviewing potential and existing loan customers.
b. Providing guidance and training to other loan officers and staff as necessary.

2. Collects, analyzes and evaluates financial data; presents proposals to loan committees.

3. Establishes and negotiates loan terms.

4. Makes recommendations for loan approvals.

5. Monitors loan repayments and takes appropriate action when necessary.

6. Monitors assigned loan portfolio with regard to profitability, asset mix, and credit quality.

7. Participates in new business development activities in terms of developing new products and
customers.

8. Administers consumer and commercial loan policy, reviews credits, and grants approvals.

9. Participates in various community affairs to promote good customer relations for the bank.

10. Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.

11. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.



Physical Demands / Work Environment:

Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing up to 25% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20”, distance vision and depth perception for computer work and travel. Salary Range:

$95,000.00 - $225,000.00
