About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager to support senior underwriters in our Gaming Group.  The position will support small deal teams that provide research, analysis, and underwriting to prepare recommendations to extend loans and monitor existing credit relationships. The Gaming Group works with a variety of entities within the Gaming industry, including Native American and corporate gaming enterprises, integrated casino resorts, hotels/casinos, riverboat casinos, racinos, gaming device manufacturers, pari-mutuel racetracks, card rooms, lottery operators, and Native American governments.     

In this role, you will:

Support senior underwriters in managing a complex credit portfolio of relationships within the Commercial Banking Gaming GroupResearch complex financial and credit information for commercial businesses according to business unit standards for the Gaming GroupPerform excel-based financial modeling, conduct credit analysis, industry and business risk analysis in support of loan structuring decision making activities and determining creditworthiness of gaming companiesPresent recommendations to resolve complex issues and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand credit needs and represents the bank in developing, monitoring, and growing client relationshipsProvide general support to senior portfolio managers, relationship managers, and risk professionals to originate, monitor, and grow the portfolioSpecifically accountable for credit underwriting and origination, portfolio monitoring, renewals, and annual reviews


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Advanced excel skills to include financial modeling

Good working knowledge of financial accounting and financial statement analysisAbility to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal partnersExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsEffective time management and organization skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentHigh level of initiative and accountabilityProactive, persistent, organized, and results orientedSound analytical thinking and high attention to detailComfortable working independently and as part of a team

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $164,400.00
