Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $91,000.00 - $139,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to provide comprehensive management of existing commercial relationships while strategically developing new business opportunities within the Institutional, Not-for-Profit, and Healthcare segments
Essential Functions
Serve as the primary consultative advisor for an assigned portfolio of diverse and complex not-for-profit and healthcare relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term retention
Provide comprehensive relationship management, proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the not-for-profit sector
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth, leveraging strong industry expertise and market insights
Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with C-level executives, board members, and financial decision-makers in a confident and engaging manner.
Act as a strategic partner to clients by understanding their unique financial needs and delivering tailored banking solutions
Work collaboratively across multiple teams, including portfolio management, treasury services, credit administration, and other solution partners to ensure seamless execution on client growth strategies
Actively participate in industry and community functions and organizations to foster meaningful connections while establishing visibility and credibility across the market
Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members, fostering professional development and knowledge-sharing within the organization
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and financial market developments affecting the Not-for-Profits and Healthcare sectors
Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem solving abilities to drive effective client solutions
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, compelling, and consultative manner
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5+ years institutional, non-for-profit, or healthcare finance experience required

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $91,000 to $139,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
