ABOUT THE TEAM:
The Greater China Commercial Finance Team is part of Global Commercial Finance organization and committed to support Customer Success organization with a holistic deal support experience for Cloud, On-Premise and Services, delivering end-to-end Commercial Services, to ensure that our customer success is sustained for the long term through high quality, profitable and compliant commercial contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Sales teams with deal structuring, analyzing a customer’s license history, performing quote checks, approving quotes, and preparing contracts for Cloud and On-Premise deals. Provide the commercial review for Services deals (such as Premium Engagement, Professional Services Education services, and etc.) and support the final contract review. Support structuring for complex deals in a compliant way and often schedule alignment meetings with other internal stakeholders (Pricing, Rev Rec, Legal, Tax etc.) in order to find the optimal solution. Serve as main point of contact for Commercial topics to business. Provide guidance on holistic deal structuring across all LOBs, as opposed to simply sharing knowledge. Support customer requests and advising the Account Executives regarding pricing and commercial standards. Be able to anticipate subsequent questions and problematic topics. Possess a deep understanding of the strategic positioning of SAP’s commercial structures, as well as business and financial risks they can present. Responsible to ensure compliance with GFA governance processes. Ensure processes follow SAP compliance guidelines. Understand and embrace the “business partner / transformation agent” mentality. To maintain service level standards and actively contribute to the development of a service culture of excellence.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma degree (preferable in Business Administration, Law or similar) or equivalent proficient experience with proven performance track record. Eye for detail. Experience with commercial business scenarios and processes is a preference. Experience with contracts/GTC is preferable but not mandatory. Very good language skills in English. Confident and assertive. Clear thinking and logical mind. High service, customer, solution orientation. Deliver high quality outcomes under deadline pressure. Self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, committed and determined. Good team player and strong willingness to help on problem solving etc.
