Commercial Collections Representative

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Collections Representative in Transactions & Processing as part of Wholesale Lending Operations division. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

This position is responsible for analyzing and managing delinquent/ problem commercial business loans. This includes account/credit analysis, identify the right parties, and handling the negotiation and execution of appropriate strategies to reach long term resolution.

In this role, you will:

Support, review, and negotiate a medium to high-risk portfolio consisting of more complex delinquent loans of high-level collateralized accounts which require special handling and researchResearch credit and account information, handle workout and restructuring problem loans and restructuring payment plansReview account equity to determine loss projectionsMonitor portfolio for policy compliance and adherence to risk ratingsAssist in the training of entry level staffParticipate in conducting issue specific training in conjunction with ManagerUtilize a high degree of knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures and execute without issueLead by example, handle core assignments effectively while taking on additional responsibilitiesCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leadersExercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Commercial Collections experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
