Be a business partner to Commercial Areas giving constant financial support to track the business and decision-making.Be a business partner with the distributor in Bolivia & Ecuador working together to create profitable business in Bolivia & Ecuador.Provide support and understanding on actuals, performing continuous financial analysis and financial modelling.Analyse the business against the plan, previous year and recommend value – creating courses of action.Analyse every line of distributor’s P&L, understanding each gap and identifying new opportunities.Analyse Value chain, by channel by brand to maximize profitabilitySupport the preparation of the annual JUBP with the distributor.Provide financial support to the M&E´s activities to ensure profitable investmentsHe/she also supports CARM process ensuring a rock-solid control environment, and in the administration of the overall control and compliance agenda.Market Context (Key information about the market):

This person will be responsible for independently developing financial analysis to drive business insights.Business Partner: to use Financial knowledge and understanding of the business to contribute to great forecasting and accuracy of the business with high risk and opportunities management.Must be able to build relationship and work together with the distributor partner in Bolivia & Ecuador.The role also requires the ability to clearly communicate these insights to key stakeholder to influence decision-making.Financial Responsibility (What responsibility does the incumbent have for Budget/Financial/Trading Profit/Unit Volume’ Use specific dollars or units.):
This person will be responsible for the accuracy and robustness of the financial analysis, ensuring great integrity of the financial plan and reported financials for his/her area of responsibility.Will also be responsible for the accuracy of distributor´s P&L understanding how each decision on the partner´s P&L affects Diageo´s performance.Leadership Responsibility (List functional, project, operational or market responsibilities; include the number and bands of employees supervised, including those supervised through subordinates.) Provide Support to Finance Manager and Commercial manager with the analysis on the Business in Bolivia & Ecuador,Become a Business Partner with Bolivia & Ecuador´s distributor to identify opportunities and risks.Support the RGM agenda to maximize value in the market.Assist the GBOB team (share service center) on preparing and reporting an accurate and robust Forecast pack, which guarantees full integrity of market financials in compliance with Diageo’s reporting standards.Lead Trade Spend agenda in the business unit evaluating all channel investment in order to understand effectiveness of the spend.Lead Trade Spend and A&P reporting & controlling activities in direct contact with key area responsible.Evaluated all channel investment as part of the annual planning process in order to understand effectiveness of the spend.Qualifications and Experience Required
Degree educated on Accountant and/or FinanceFluent in Spanish, proficient EnglishMinimum 5 years’ experience in Finance Sr Roles including at least 2 years in Commercial Finance roles, and 2 years in controls/sr. accounting.Experience in financial and management accountingAble to manage projects by following well-defined plans and ensuring those barriers to progress are highlighted and escalated where necessary to ensure successful completion.Accuracy and attention to detailsSelf-confident though able to recognize risk and open to feedback and challenge from others.Embraces change and take ownership for driving change through the organization.Worker Type :
