As Commercial Development Rep. II/III, you will connect and collaborate with key business partners on deal terms and structures and contribute to the development of economic analysis of commercial opportunities by suggesting creative ideas and innovative solutions. The ability to cultivate and nurture a network across functions, understand how changes in the market place affect business and influence others to gain support and dedication are keys to success!

Commercial Development Rep II Responsibilities/Expectations:
+ Tracks customer announcements and public statements to determine impact on current or future business
+ Validates new business opportunities with existing customers, coordinates solutions for customer problems, and partners with others on customer interaction
+ Monitors contract expiration/renewal periods, and participates in contract discussions with internal partners and external customers
+ Tracks deal progress and participates in development of economic analysis of commercial opportunities
+ Participates in tradeshows/exhibits to promote Williams brand and services
+ Maintains existing and establishes new business relationships with buying influencers and third-party service providers
+ Assists with management presentations
+ Participates in budget development with ongoing financial responsibility for asset performance
+ Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
+ Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics or relevant field and minimum five (5) years’ commercial experience
+ Preferred: MBA
Other Requirements:
+ Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
+ Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
+ Knowledge of contract and legal concepts and familiarity with existing contract details that are crucial to business operations
+ Previous commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting
+ Understanding of the energy industry
Commercial Development Rep III
Responsibilities/Expectations:
+ Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand existing accounts and asset footprints
+ Participates in tradeshows/exhibits to promote Williams brand and services
+ Supports closure of all new opportunities with existing customers
+ Interprets and facilitates implementation of agreements and amendments
+ Assists with the negotiation of contract terms for new or modified contracts
+ Maintains existing and establishes new business relationships with buying influencers and third-party service providers
+ Assists with management presentations
+ Participates in budget development with ongoing financial responsibility for asset performance
+ Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
+ Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics or relevant field and minimum seven (7) years’ commercial experience
+ Preferred: MBA
Other Requirements:
+ Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
+ Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
+ Ability to understand contract details and resulting business impacts
+ Demonstrates understanding of energy market fundamentals and economics, including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
+ Knowledge of all components of a deal structure, including risks and deal value
+ Previous commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting
+ Understanding of the energy industry
