TalentWorld is recruiting a Commercial Driver (Class 3) in Winnipeg, Manitoba for one of our clients.

Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and securement. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Keep accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle mileage. Follow planned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers to update delivery status. Provide professional and courteous service to all customers. Adhere to traffic regulations and company safety policies. Perform minor maintenance tasks on vehicles when necessary. Always ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Handle paperwork related to deliveries and inventory management. Report any vehicle malfunctions or delivery issues to the supervisor. Comply with regulations for transporting hazardous materials (if required). Assist with warehouse operations, including stock management and order picking. Attend training sessions to stay informed about safety procedures and industry practices. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid Class 3 DZ driver's license. At least 2 years of proven commercial driving experience. Clean driving record with no major infractions. Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide compliance documents. Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50lbs. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient in using GPS and other navigation tools. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledgeable about traffic laws and safety regulations. Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic. Ability to travel within and outside of Winnipeg, across the province. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team. Employment Details Salary: $24.00HR Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Fulltime, Onsite Schedule: 6:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday (possibility of weekend or holidays if needed.
