Commercial Excellence Intern
Job Description SummaryWe are looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Intern (13 months) to play a key role in our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics’ (PDx) Commercial Excellence Team, working with the Global Sales Enablement Leader and Digital Product Leaders, covering multiple aspects of Commercial Excellence, primarily focused on the launch of our Sales Training Academy in Europe. To be successful as a Commercial Excellence Intern, you should have strong analytical skills, be a clear communicator, proficient in digital tools and adaptable to working in changing and ambiguous situations both with the team and autonomously.

A Commercial Internship within GE HealthCare (GEHC) is designed to enable undergraduates pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. As an Intern you will receive specific supervision from both a direct manager, and a people leader, with the aim of nurturing your technical and soft skills to develop you into a well-rounded individual.  There will also be the opportunity to, at the end of your studies to apply for a place within the Commercial organisation.  By applying for this internship, your application will automatically be considered for other Internships offered in the same location.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

Support the launch of the new Sales Training Academy within our Europe & International region.

Work directly with Commercial Leaders and Operations Managers to provide the best commercial training to their Sales, Customer Service & Marketing teams.

Plan and execute on the training plans to help our teams evolve to the next level of commercial selling skills.  You will work closely with our Sales Enablement Leader to standardise training offerings globally.

Support other digital tools programs during design, testing & deployment phases as needed.  The aim is to embed our selling methodologies into our digital tools (Salesforce.com).


Required Qualifications and Desired Characteristics

Carries themselves with a positive attitude, a team player and able to deliver expected results on time

Confident, self-motivated, able to demonstrate initiative and work with limited supervision when needed

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, highly numerate with a good attention to detail

Confident in both oral and written communication

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and main Microsoft Office applications

Fluent in English.  Other language skills are an advantage but not mandatory

Taking a placement year as part of a curriculum leading to a bachelors or master's degree from an accredited university, college, or school

Must have unlimited authorization to work in hiring country, preferably long term. GE Healthcare does not sponsor visas for internships

Interest in training, development, or sales enablement preferred but no required.

You will be an integral part of the PDx Commercial Excellence Team, contributing to the overall priorities of both the team and the Business.

You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

You will have opportunities to work directly with global leaders, gaining insights into strategic decision-making and international business operations.

You will have guided development which can potentially result in a position within GE HealthCare.
