We are looking as of now in full-time for our office in Bremen for our BMID division a Commercial Excellence Manager (m/f/d)
The responsibility of the Commercial Excellence Manager is to drive and support BMID departments in the execution of the Division’s Commercial Strategy. All Business Areas belonging to the Division are considered in scope and relevant to the role.
The role supports the development of the Division’s Business analytics capabilities and drives the adoption and development of our CRM. In this function the role also tracks and facilitates cross-divisional projects especially as it relates to Commercial, Marketing, Product Management and Business Analytics activities. The role helps interpret, coordinate and prioritize Business Process & System requirements across different functions as well as keep the teams informed on project status. The role works closely with Commercial Excellence and Operational functions to help map the Target Operating Model for the Division, capturing key Business processes and associated transactional activities.
The role requires a good understanding of the Division’s Commercial and Operational requirements, and the ability to then translate those into System and Process needs & expectations for the Division to then be able to communicate those needs with our primary CALID Group business partners, in particular Commercial Excellence. The end state is to ensure End-to-End processes operate effectively through our different Systems, leveraging Interfaces where necessary to ensure smooth operations, enable clear data analytics, based on clearly defined Process Owners and System Functionality Designs (clear Roles and Responsibilities, clearly defined Leading Systems for either End-to-End processes or for the individual steps in an End-to-End process).The role requires an understanding of business processes in general, CRM and ERP (ideally SAP) systems, the logic of reports and the commonly used MS Office products.
Business Process Development and Mapping
Develop clear End-to-End Process Maps to capture customer facing processes and identify the Leading systems for the steps in each process, and their associated Process OwnersDrive key projects to ensure customer facing processes and systems are developed to support Sales, Applications, Marketing and Product Management activities (e.g. Opportunity to lead, lead to order, order to cash, Price Management, SIPs, etc.)Capture business requirements, translate into process and system requirements, prioritize and communicate with CALID Group ComEx team. Help maintain project pipeline for future development and improvements. Represent BMID Division with CALID Group ComEx team and lead BMID Steering teams.Business Analytics & related tasks
Support the Commercial Team, Product Management and Finance in terms of questions around pricing and drive the overall pricing development process from a divisional perspective.Provide ad hoc analysis and general dashboards to the division to gain advanced business knowledge and define further requirements to get needed reports developed in PowerBI.Drive and coordinate the Commercial Sales Target process in close collaboration with the respective management.Set up and manage a calendar for managing recurrent tasks. Goal: tasks are initiated in a timely fashion, all stakeholders are informed, and execution is completed on time (e.g. for new SIPs and Price Management)CRM knowledge (salesforce.com), development & support
Provide first level support to a global team by using your knowledge about the system itself, implemented processes and workflows and report/ dashboard creation.Provide trainings and guidance as well as up to date communication about new features and functionalities developed in the organization.Define business relevant development needs in close collaboration with respective stakeholders, communicate the identified requirements to the supporting functions, test, create corresponding guidelines and training material and roll-out new developments on a global scale.Project management
Organize projects cross-divisional including various stakeholders and interest groups by keeping the overview, giving regular updates and assure needed developments are planned.Prioritize independently after stakeholder alignments and deliver results in discussed timeframes.Others
Being the contact for other departments in terms of process and systems workflows within the divisionBeing the contact in terms of process difficulties (esp. for the commercial team) and initiate discussions and changes if needed in close collaboration with the involved departments. Qualifications Degree in business administration or similar.Experience in working in a matrix organization.Analytical and/ or project management experience.Experience with salesforce.com or comparable CRM system.Fluent in English. Fluency in German would be a strong advantage.Very structured and organized.Being able to work independently and keep the overview on several priorities, tasks and numerous projects in parallel.Being able to find compromises between multiple stakeholders.Being able to adapt to different audiences and target groups within the organization in terms of communication and understanding.Communicative and team player.
