Commercial Finance Analyst
**What's the role?** This role will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Finance Manager through the execution and delivery of efficient, standardised and consistently high quality reporting, planning and analysis to provide News Corp with financial insight to make informed business decisions on performance and future growth opportunities. You will partner with the business in ensuring we are aligned with our strategic direction to drive long term profitability. **Responsibilities:** + Facilitates the consolidation and analysis of weekly and monthly financial results of The Australian and Prestige brands (Vogue + GQ) + Acts as a partner to Conde Nast Global stakeholders, providing financial reporting for actuals and forecasting on a monthly basis for the Australian market + Assists in ad hoc projects inclusive of, but not limited to, optimisation of print magazine margin tracking, production optimisation, and file enhancements + Opportunities to support the Investment and Technology & Digital teams + Identify process improvements and execute on approved initiatives + Partner with key stakeholders to ensure the best commercial decisions are made. + Become the teams’ financial planning system expert, leading all relevant work in this space with opportunities to work alongside the Data Insights team and Group FP&A **Who are you?** + Financial Modelling; highly experienced in excel and/or google sheets + System and technology savvy – Experience with JDE, Tableau & TM1 beneficial but not a requirement + Strategic thinker and self-starter with a commercial approach to business + Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision and cope with ambiguity + Willingness to roll up sleeves where required given the nature of organisational size and number of programs + Ability to build strong relationships with a broad network of stakeholders + Excellent communication & presentation skills; influences others effectively + Resilient with an ability to manage competing deadlines **News Benefits** News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
