What you’ll do

 

 


We're recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Consumer Finance team at Vodafone UK. 

 

 

Within this role, you will work closely with the Consumer Mobile and New Business Development teams to support the financial and commercial direction of the Mobile (PAYM) P&L. The role will also involve liaising with the wider Consumer Finance Decisions Support community to facilitate specific understanding of different elements within ‘In Bundle’ and ‘Out of Bundle’ revenue performance as well as assist with consolidation of monthly results. 

 

 

Wider responsibilities will also include:

 

 

Financial modelling of specific segments of PAYM, from standard monthly analysis to rolling forecasts using a robust and logical approach. Reporting and analysis of the monthly results relating to Consumer PAYM P&L, providing insight on variances to forecast and drivers of these.Full ownership of the Talkmobile P&L, including reporting, forecasting, analysis, business partnering, IBRO, trading business cases and UE maintenancePreparation of review material and reporting to support finance and Mobile team’s understanding of month end resultsBusiness partnering the Mobile team to drive revenue and margin of the Mobile P&L, recommending ideas and practical solutions to business and finance issues. Proactively seek out best practice.Develop efficient and accurate modelling tools to deliver required forecasts for in year and budget planningSupport the Mobile and New Business Development teams in the delivery of robust business cases for their new initiatives (e.g. in Secure Net, Content or new revenue streams)As required by Senior Commercial Finance Manager & Head of CBU Finance, provide additional insights into Consumer Mobile revenue & margin plans.

 

 

Who you are

 

 

Aptitude for building relationships and influencing all levels of seniority across functions.Demonstrable Commercial Finance experience. Fully or part-qualified preferred (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent).Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite required.Professional presentation & communication skills, with and ability to interpret and explain complex information.Resilient and delivery-focused, with competence in prioritising multiple stakeholder-demands.
