British American Tobacco Greece has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Business Partner in Athens
The job holder is designed to work in partnership with the business to support the Commercial Finance Growth Manager to translate strategies into plans and budgets, providing commercial insights relating to future performance.
At the same time, it will provide structured and insightful analysis of financial and non-financial data in order to influence and enable strategic financial decisions.
The role will provide support for other functions such as: Marketing (Resource Allocation, Pricing & Excise, Investments), Operations (Including Supply Chain) etc
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing support to the Commercial Finance Growth Manager and Head of Finance by providing high-quality information and advice to Business Units/ ClusterPreparing the monthly forecasting, budget & investment proposals.Preparing Business Cases/ Scenario Calculations with financial insights for Revenue Growth regarding New market and category launchesPlanning, budgeting and analysing Pricing and Excise as well as Marketing Investment for Profit GrowthPreparing P&L variance analysis and advice on business performancePerforming Market Analysis, providing assessments of trends and identifying indicators of possible performance issues or changes in future business activitiesBusiness Partnering with Country Managers to improve, automate and streamline internal processes via multifunctional projectsBuilding Business and Financial acumen cross-functionally in the Organization and within Finance TeamWhat are we looking for?
University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or EconomicsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance. Experience in Commercial and/ or Corporate Finance is also desirable and will be considered a plus, ideally in a global FMCG or similar operating environmentPartial completion of a Professional Qualification (CA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA) or a Master’s Degree in Finance/ Business Administration will be appreciatedAdvanced knowledge of Excel/ Power Point. Power BI will be appreciatedThorough understanding and knowledge of relevant Finance tools & systems i.e. SAP/ BPCExperience in financial analysis & planning, performance metrics, business case evaluation and commercial acumen.Comfort in dealing with complex matrix structures, as well as external stakeholders.Good influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills. Flexible leadership style to manage peers and senior stakeholders.Story Telling: Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize, communicate present information to different audiences.What we offer you?
